African Enterprise Dynamics Survey
The Creazioneer Institute is studying what happens to businesses in Africa, good and bad, and how they respond. We invite owners and senior managers of businesses to answer this survey.
- The survey takes 30 to 45 minutes. To stop and come back later, choose Save and finish later and make up a save name and password. Do not use your real name, and you can leave the email box blank.
- Taking part is your choice. You can skip a question or stop at any time.
- Different people get some different questions, so your survey may not match a colleague's.
- We will not publish your name or the name of your business. We report answers only in groups.
- Your answers are collected and managed in the United States by the Creazioneer Institute, which is based in the United States. By taking part, you agree to this.
- The survey records how long each page takes, so we can check its length. This does not identify you.
- Some questions ask about sensitive matters, such as requests for unofficial payments, crime or conflict. You can skip any question, and we never ask for names.
- In the future, we may give other organizations access to results that are anonymous and grouped. We will never share your own answers or your contact details.
- We keep your answers for research without your name, your business's name or your contact details. For 30 days after you finish the survey, you can ask us to remove your answers by writing to privacy@creazioneer.com with the removal code shown at the end of the survey; after that they cannot be traced back to you.
- If you ask for a private profile, we keep it for six months from the date we send it, and you can download it during that time. After six months we delete the profile and the link between your email and your answers.
- For questions about your privacy or your data, write to privacy@creazioneer.com.
- You must be 18 or older to take part.
- At the end, you can choose to receive a monthly report for participants from early 2027, a private profile of your answers beside group results, an invitation to a private results webinar, and other options. Each is a separate choice. If you choose any of them, we ask for your email at the end of the survey and store it apart from your answers.
- Some words have a short definition. You can also open the word list at any time.
- If you have a general question about the survey, write to aed-survey@creazioneer.com. We cannot help with answering the questions.
